In BEFORE MIDNIGHT, we meet Celine and Jesse 9 years on. Almost 2 decades have passed since that first meeting on a train bound for Vienna, and we now find them in their early 40's in Greece. Before the clock strikes midnight, we will again become part of their story.
Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes
Love is messy here, life cannot be controlled, satisfaction is far from guaranteed. Romance is rocky at best. But romance still is.Tom Long, Detroit News, 06.13.2013
How (Jesse and Celine) try to rekindle that flame is what drives Midnight, a film that feels so authentic it's like overhearing a conversation you're not sure you should be hearing.Cary Darling, Dallas Morning News, 06.06.2013
Before Midnight is fascinating to watch, and so long as Celine and Jesse are communicating, there's still hope.Mick LaSalle, Hearst Newspapers, 06.07.2013
Though "Before Midnight" is often uncomfortable to watch, it's never less than mesmerizing - and ultimately, a joy to walk with this prickly but fascinating couple again.Moira MacDonald, Seattle Times, 06.13.2013
