Synopsis

The single greatest actor in American film history, Marlon Brando, offers up one of his most delightfully tormented roles as ex-boxer Terry Malloy. ON THE WATERFRONT is a social commentary film, bringing to light the corruption, crime and immorality on the New Jersey docks. It’s one of the most alarming and politically revolutionary films of the 1950s to come out of Hollywood.
